Barbara Tommeys Sister Reveals Shocking Details About Divorce and Tragic Death of Sister

Sophia Tommey, the sister of Barbara Tommey, who tragically lost her life after being shot by her husband, Pastor Sylvester Ofori in the US city of Orlando last week, has spoken out about some incidents that reportedly took place before her sister’s death.

During an exclusive interview with Franky5 on This is Gospel show on Hitz FM on Sunday, September 13, Sophia claimed that Ofori had planned to kill her sister after she filed for divorce.

She alleged that Barbara filed for divorce after discovering that Ofori, as the head pastor of Floodgates of Heaven International Ministries, had joined an occult group.

Speaking about this, she said; 

“Sylvester had renounced God after visiting a shrine in Nzema and even tried to persuade my sister to join him. However, she later found out that her husband had joined an occult group and filed for divorce.”

Sophia also disclosed that her late sister had left the matrimonial home three months prior and had only returned for some documents when Ofori attempted to strangle her. She claimed that her brother’s intervention had prevented Ofori from choking Barbara to death at that time. 

The grieving lady, who mentioned that her late sister had been very private, stated that Ofori had planned to kill Barbara upon realizing that he would lose everything if the divorce was finalized. 

She added; 

“Barbara was the main provider for the family and owned all the property; Sylvester was just a pastor, so the fear of losing everything drove him to kill my sister. 

“Barbara was very reserved, so everything we know came from her friends; she never told us about her struggles until her death.”

Sophia mentioned that Barbara’s burial is scheduled for September 26, 2020, and expressed confidence that the police would do their best to bring justice for the family.
