Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright: MARRIED!

Publish date: 2024-06-05

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright has officially completed their journey.

They’ve gone from nightmare couple … to cantakerous exes … to sort of stable couple … and now all the way to the altar.

Indeed, the Vanderpump Rules co-stars are husband and wife!

The veteran Bravo personalities exchanged vows on Saturday at The Kentucky Castle, in Versailles, Kentucky.

The well-known friends and colleagues in attendance included: Kristen Doute, Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, Stassi Schroeder and Ariana Madix, all of whom served as bridesmaids.

Katie Maloney, meanwhile, was Brittany’s matron of honor and Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval shared the role of best men to the groom.

As for the stars of the afternoon?

“It feels amazing,” Cartwright told People Magazine just before the big day, adding:

“We’re stronger and happier than we’ve ever been. We’ve been through a lot, but we came out on the other side. I feel like we’ve just gotten stronger and stronger.”

Taylor, of course, popped the major question during Season 7 of Vanderpump Rules. Br

Cartwright claimed to be taken aback by the proposal and couldn’t stop smiling after her polarizing boyfriend got down on one knee at their favorite restaurant in Malibu, California.

For those who have followed this couple on its roller coaster romance, such a happy ending may not have been forecasted back when Jax was cheating on Brittany all the time.

Alas, the heart wants what the heart wants and these two have now agreed to remain together forever.

Or until one of them filed for divorce.

Said Jax to Us Weekly after proposing last year:

“The location is just a place that we went to a few times and we really like it. It’s a place that my father, when he visited here, he really, really loved.

"You can see the sun setting, the dolphins are out and surfers, so it’s kind of just fun to have some crabs and dinner there, so I thought I would do it there just because it meant so much to me and my father and us.

"It had a lot of meaning all around.”

Almost 12 months later to the day, he seemed as satisfied as ever with his decision to wed Brittany.

“We know we love each other," he told People on Friday. "We know we want to be together. We’re just really excited. Just really happy with where we are right now.”

But will this union last? It’s hard to say.

Jax and Brittany started dating in 2015.

However, the twosome nearly called it quits after season 6 of Vanderpump Rules when the bartender was caught cheating with a former SURver. This would become a pattern.

“It is hard, trust me, and there are still days, sometimes, when you can’t help but think of horrible things from the past,” Brittany told Us Weekly in November of 2018 about learning to trust Jax again.

“But for the most part, we’ve moved mountains in this relationship. I feel like we’re almost starting over, but we’ve grown so much. He does things before I even ask him now.

"Even just helping around the house… I can just tell in our everyday lives that he’s changed."

For her sake, let’s hope this is true.

Heck, for the sake of true love, let’s believe this is true.

We’re gonna go ahead and assume/hope this couple really does make it because… hey, why be cynical, right?
