I agree with R1. Are you referring to this building in Tribeca, on Church Street, just south of Canal Street?

If so, it’s an AT&T long line central office building.

I used to work for the Tribeca Film Festival. I've been inside. Standard office space. Nothing special inside. A hulking monolith outside.

It was a telephone switching building when it opened. God only knows what it is now, since the computers that filled that building in 1974 could now fit in a shoebox.
