ABC’s Wheel of Fortune has been a staple in households worldwide for more than four decades. Although host Merv Griffin got the show started in 1975, many only know Pat Sajak as its host, with his loyal co-host Vanna White at his side. Three people battle it out each week for a chance to win thousands of dollars and other life-changing goodies if they correctly solve the game’s puzzles.

In 2020, Pat and Vanna decided to spread their wings with Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. The spinoff, which first aired on Jan. 7, 2021, follows the same premise as its predecessor but added one twist: The celebrity who wins the competition must donate their funds to a charity they choose, which none seem to mind.

Mayim, best known for her role on The Big Bang Theory and her more recent stint as the host of Jeopardy! (and the fact that she's a literal neuroscientist) will be playing for the Mental Wealth Alliance. The organization's main aim is to reduce the ongoing stigma around mental health through programs aimed at helping people struggling with their own mental health.

Ken, of major Jeopardy! fame as well, will be playing for the Equal Justice Initiative, an organization dedicated to criminal justice reform, racial justice, public education, and providing programs for people living in poverty.

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’s third contestant, Vanna, who is literally the woman who most people think of when they hear Wheel of Fortune, will be playing for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

St. Jude's is dedicated to cancer research for children. The organization also covers the cost of treatment for kids with cancer in their care, in addition to other medical bills for their needs.

In the cutest Wheel of Fortune moment of all time, Pat Sajak's own daughter Maggie will be filling Vanna's spot on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune tonight while Vanna competes for her charity.
